NCSE Members are part of an international community of influential leaders across scientific and academic societies, government at all levels, and the private sector. NCSE works with a core community of universities to provide concrete opportunities to engage with decision-makers and learn about science policy through immersive experiences. The NCSE community collaborates on scholarship and synthesis and works to prepare the next generation of environmental leaders for the workforce of the future.
NCSE membership benefits, detailed below, are available to all individuals at an NCSE Member institution. Please contact email@example.com with any questions.
Leadership and Community
Representation on the NCSE Leaders' Alliance
Members may select up to two representatives to join the NCSE Alliance of Sustainability and Environmental Academic Leaders (NCSE Leaders’ Alliance). The NCSE Leaders' Alliance brings together over 100 deans, directors, and academic leaders of environmental and sustainability departments, programs, and schools from all NCSE Members.
Participation in the NCSE Leaders’ Alliance provides a valuable peer network for academic leaders to improve the quality and effectiveness of environmental and sustainability higher education programs, research, curricula, and workforce development. The NCSE Leaders’ Alliance meets monthly, provides input and perspective on priorities of NCSE Members and advances the quality and effectiveness of interdisciplinary environmental and sustainability education and scholarship.
