NCSE Membership Benefits

Membership Benefits

NCSE works with universities to provide concrete opportunities for students to engage with local governments and learn about science policy through immersive experiences. The NCSE community engages in scholarship and synthesis to help prepare the next generation of environmental leaders for the workforce of the future. NCSE Members are part of NCSE’s international community of influential leaders across scientific and academic societies, government at all levels, and the private sector.

NCSE membership benefits are available to all individuals from an NCSE Member. Please contact with any questions.

Representation on the NCSE Leaders' Alliance

Members are represented on the NCSE Alliance of Sustainability and Environmental Academic Leaders (NCSE Leaders’ Alliance). The NCSE Leaders' Alliance brings together over 100 deans, directors, and academic leaders of environmental and sustainability departments, programs, and schools from all NCSE Members. Formerly known as the NCSE Council of Environmental Deans and Directors (CEDD) and the NCSE Community College Alliance for Sustainability Education (CCASE), the NCSE Leaders’ Alliance now captures both CEDD and CCASE and includes the expansion of academic leaders beyond deans and directors as the landscape of sustainability education has continued to evolve and grow.

Participation in the NCSE Leaders’ Alliance provides a valuable peer network for academic leaders to improve the quality and effectiveness of environmental and sustainability higher education programs, research, curricula, and workforce development. Each institution is encouraged to nominate two deans, directors, or academic leaders to serve as NCSE Leaders' Alliance representatives. To update or select your institution's representatives, please contact
