NCSE encourages undergraduate and graduate students to participate at the Annual Conference. Here are a number of reasons why students should attend the NCSE 2020 Annual Conference.
Student Focused Session - NCSE 2020 will include sessions specifically for students and sessions by students. Stay tuned for more information about sessions at NCSE 2020.
Present at the Conference - Students interested in presenting should consider submitting a submission with a professor or administrator at their institute, a poster presentation, or a flash talk presentation. The Call for Session Submissions and Poster Presentations will open on May 20.
Networking Opportunities - Networking is a big part of any conference and the Annual Conference is no different. The Annual Conference brings together hundreds of scientists, educators, researchers, policy-makers, and non-profit leaders. Bring your business cards and be sure to attend the networking events. You never know who you may meet at NCSE 2020.
Discounted Registration - A discounted registration rate is available for students interested in attending the conference. Student groups of five or more from one institution can receive an additional 20 percent off registration. Consider reaching out to clubs on campus to find a group of students interested in attending. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register a student group.
Volunteer Opportunities - The Annual Conference would not be possible without our conference volunteers. Volunteers commit eight hours of their time during the conference to help monitor sessions, manage registration, and assist attendees. In exchange for their time, volunteers receive complimentary registration. If you are interested in volunteering email Darian Madere, Events and Communications Coordinator, at email@example.com.
