Shelley Kossak serves as Senior Advisor on NCSE's Annual Conference and University Network. Over the years she has served as NCSE’s Director of University Relations and Development. Through her role as Senior Advisor, Ms. Kossak works closely with the Senior Manager, Meetings and Events on the planning of the Annual Conference. Her responsibilities include working with key sponsors and speakers as well as developing the conference program. Ms. Kossak also works with the Executive Director on funding strategic initiatives for the organization for such programs as EnvironMentors.
Prior to her work at NCSE, she was Vice President and Washington Director of the Population Resource Center for eleven years managing the work of the Washington, DC office and organizing briefings on international and national socio-economic issues for policymakers at the national and regional level. She has 25 years experience in program development, management and board relations, which includes positions at the several non-profit organizations representing state and local governments. Ms. Kossak holds a Masters of Public Administration from George Washington University and a BS in Education from the University of Maryland, College Park.
