Poster Presentation: Water Analysis of Microbial Agents: Legionella, Salmonella and E. Coli

Amid the “Flint Water Crisis” and the persistent closings of popular Flint hotspots like beaches and walking trails many wonder, “What is in our water?” Specifically looking at culture growth of Legionella pneumophila, Salmonella, and Escherichia coli, it was found that there were no indicators of significant amounts of Legionella, Salmonella, or E.Coli. However, upon further consultation traces of Serratia and Corneybacterium were found.
