Shelley Kossak serves as Senior Advisor on the NCSE Annual Conference and College and University Network. Over the years, she has served as the director of university relations and development. Through her role as senior advisor, she works closely with the Communications, Events, and Membership team in planning the Annual Conference. Her responsibilities include working with key sponsors and speakers as well as developing the conference program. Ms. Kossak also works with the executive director on funding strategic initiatives for the organization for programs such as EnvironMentors.
Prior to her work at NCSE, she was Vice President and Washington Director of the Population Resource Center for 11 years managing the work of the Washington, D.C., office and organizing briefings on international and national socio-economic issues for policymakers at the national and regional level. She has 25 years experience in program development and management and board relations, which includes positions at several nonprofit organizations representing state and local governments. Ms. Kossak holds a Masters of Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Maryland, College Park.
