Laurel Ady

Youth and Diversity Senior Program Officer

Laurel is the Youth and Diversity Senior Program Officer at NCSE, and in this role will manage the D.C. EnvironMentors program and serve as national liaison to other chapters located across the country. 

Previously working for organizations like Outward Bound and the Student Conservation Association, she has spent over 10 years learning and teaching outdoors across the country. Her career has been focused on experiential education, training, and leadership development, and she is passionate about justice and equity work and cultivating community. 

In 2009, Laurel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor Leadership Studies from Warren Wilson College, and in 2015 completed an M.Ed and Nonprofit Management Certificate through IslandWood and University of Washington.
