Cameron Heyder is a research intern at the National Council for Science and the Environment. His role at NCSE is to create a federal funding database that will assist NCSE members easily locate funding opportunities for research. The process considers the research interests of NCSE members and requires an evaluation of different programs offered by federal agencies for a dynamic, user-friendly database.
As a senior at Chatham University, he studies Sustainability and Business and leads a research project on the environmental, economic and social effects of pricing water. Over the past year, Cameron has studied water resources of the Middle East—Negotiation, Policy and Management, as well as Organizational Sustainability at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Be’er Sheva, Israel.
Cameron looks forward to finding solutions for global sustainability challenges after he graduates from Chatham this summer.
